Really this is just my total lack of understanding. With Black Friday only recently passed, my FB page is still flooding with everything that goes down in stores. I've never gone Black Friday shopping, or Black Thursday as people are now calling it since it starts Thanksgiving Day now, so maybe I'm just out of the loop.
So, my question is, is the early morning shopping worth everything that goes on? Would you pay someone's life just to get a new tablet? Is a cheap new toy worth getting arrested for?
Sometimes, I'm ashamed to be human when I see the videos of girls fighting over a pair of underwear, or grown men throwing punches over a speaker. Or even reading that store employees or other people were trampled in the wave of self centered shoppers. Is this really what humanity has sunk to, willing to kill each other to save a few bucks?

I'm worried about how the world is going to be with these kinds of people raising kids. Already, and I looked this up at plenty of sources, the current generation (Generation Z) is described as-
A volatile environment of terror threats, possible nuclear or biological attacks.
Family stability and moral values put aside, heightened sense of self.

You can do some of your own internet browsing, and compare that to the previous generation, Generation Y.
All hope is lost for humanity, unless people start to lose this mindset that everything is about or belongs to them. Which, I doubt. People like their stuff too much.
